Two individuals in safety helmets are in an industrial setting. One holds a laptop, while the other gestures, possibly discussing something related to the machinery in the background.

Independent testing.

TS Conductor’s AECC has undergone extensive independent testing to validate its long-term performance, safety, and reliability.

  • EPRI Endurance Testing

500 thermo-mechanical cycles were successfully completed (report # 3002021585 for EPRI members), simulating years of thermal and mechanical stress. A more extensive 1500-cycle test is planned to begin in Q4 2024 when EPRI's new testing facility becomes available.

  • AEP Sequential Mechanical Testing

Often called the "torture test", this series of tests subjected AECC to extreme stresses far beyond real-world conditions, including sheave passing, galloping, aeolian vibration, and tension cycling.

  • Kinectrics Type Testing

This comprehensive suite of 11 tests were performed in accordance with international
standards (IEC, ASTM, ANSI) to evaluate the electrical, mechanical, and environmental
    performance of AECC.

  • AFL Hardware Testing

Conducted by AFL in accordance with ANSI C119 standards, this test verified tensile
strength and connector performance, ensuring AECC’s compatibility with
    industry-standard fittings and installation practices.
