  • EPRI Endurance Testing

500 thermo-mechanical cycles successfully completed (EPRI report #3002021585), simulating years of thermal and mechanical stress.

  • AEP Sequential Mechanical Testing

Often referred to as the “torture test,” this series subjected AECC to extreme conditions well beyond real-world operation, including sheave passing, galloping, aeolian vibration, and tension cycling.

  • Kinectrics Type Testing

A comprehensive suite of 11 tests conducted to IEC, ASTM, and ANSI standards evaluated AECC’s electrical, mechanical, and environmental performance.

  • AFL Hardware Testing

AFL testing to ANSI C119 standards validated tensile strength and connector performance, confirming full compatibility with standard fittings and installation methods.
