Support for utilities,
PUCs & states.
The U.S. Department of Energy has launched the $1.9B SPARK Program (Speed to Power through Accelerated Reconductoring), a major new funding opportunity that provides significant federal cost share for near-term, high-impact grid capacity upgrades. Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs) and large organizations are eligible for up to 50% federal cost share, while electric cooperatives may qualify for up to 75%. SPARK is designed to rapidly increase transfer capability within existing rights-of-way, accelerate permitting, and deliver measurable improvements in reliability, affordability, and resource adequacy.
If your organization, Utility, PUC, State Energy Office, or Regional Planning Authority is preparing a concept paper (due April 2) or full application (due May 20), TS Conductor can support you directly with technical materials, templates, and strategic guidance. Please reach out below!
