Conductor Tech

TS Conductor technology shifts the paradigms, and solves the challenges and limitations inherent in traditional ACSR and ACSS conductors:

Non-expansion core eliminates conductor thermal sag challenges in traditional conductors such as ACSR and ACSS conductors.

Lightweight core removes the conductor weight penalty associated with trapezoidal stranding, while delivering low resistance, high ampacity, and reduced sag and structural load.

High-strength core removes the strength penalty in conductors featuring annealed aluminum, while maximizing conductivity, resilience, and minimizing sag under weight loading such as icing or wind.

Seamless aluminum encapsulation enables the protection of carbon fiber composite core for mistake tolerance and safe handling in field installation and maintenance, for lifetime protection against environmental degradation (e.g., moisture plasticization, polymer oxidation and UV/ozone degradation), and for compatibility with standard work practice (i.e., same tools, equipment, methodology, and training as ACSR and ACSS conductors).
